Summer High School Satellite

Summer High School Satellite is a summer-based, group-training program offered to high school athletes. The program emphasizes speed, agility, flexibility, plyometrics, core strengthening, along with conditioning training opportunities for athletes.

POWER summer satellite training provides an 8:1 ratio of athletes to trainers.

Summer Satellite training is currently offered at multiple sites that include: Alcester-Hudson, Baltic, Lincoln, Luverne, Roosevelt and Tea Area.

Summer Satellite training is held during the months of June and July. Training frequency is two or three times per week with each training session lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Goal of Program: Speed, agility, flexibility, plyometrics, core strengthening, and conditioning

Types of Drills/Exercises: Agility quick feet ladder, hurdle mobility drills, medicine ball plyometrics, competitive speed and agility drills

Dates: June & July –  2 or 3 times per week for 8 weeks
