Spine Center physicians and surgeons work together to review your case prior to any appointments to ensure you see the right doctor for your unique condition. This speeds access to the appropriate treatment for you, with an emphasis on conservative care that must be exhausted before surgery is indicated. Once you become a patient of the Sanford Spine Center, a Sanford Spine Center physician will follow you and your condition until an appropriate time where you can be transitioned back to your regular family physician. ConditionsSpine Center physicians and surgeons identify each person’s extent of injury and then recommends an appointment for them with the appropriate physician. That physician will follow the patient’s care plan and only move on to more aggressive treatments when conservative measures have not been effective. Patients may be treated with simple medications or specialized physical therapy, or be offered surgical consultation if the condition warrants.
