Treatments

 

  • Spine (back and neck): Minimally invasive cervical, thoracic, and lumbar diskectomies and fusions (percutaneous pedicle screw fixation, cage technology, METRX, etc.); artificial cervical discs, X-Stop, Kyphoplasty; Cord, intradural extramedullary and epidural tumors; spinal arteriovenous malformations; spine trauma including anterior screw fixation of the odontoid; and anterior and posterior approach and state-of-the-art instrumentation for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine.
     
  • Neurovascular: Aneurysms, Arteriovenous Malformations (AVM’s), Carotid Endarterectomy, and EC-IC and high flow bypass.
     
  • NeuroOncology: Cerebral and brainstem tumors (using stereotactic image-guided, frame and frameless systems, as well as ultrasonic aspirator and laser technology); Stereotactic brain biopsies, Pituitary tumor surgery (through trans-sphenoidal, trans-nasal, or translabial approach using microscope or endoscope, as well as transcranial); Gliadial water placement for brain tumors, Skull base tumors, (acoustic neuromas, posterior fossa, middle fossa, and translabyrinthine approach; craniopharyngomas, clival tumors, foramen magnum meningiomas, etc.)
     
  • Radiosurgery (Stereotactic focused radiation therapy): Benign and malignant brain tumors, (acoustic neuromas, meningiomas, metastatic tumors, gliomas, craniopharyngomas, etc.); arteriovenous malformations (AVM’s); Trigeminal Neuralgia, Seizure Disorders.
     
  • Pediatrics: Craniosynostosis (craniofacial advancement and endoscopic craniosynostosis surgery); Hydrocephalus (endoscopic third ventriculostomy, VP shunts, VA shunts, LP shunts, Brain tumors, Myelomeningocele repair, Chiari Malformation, tethered cord release.
     
  • Peripheral Nerves: Carpal Tunnel (Open, endoscopic, as well as limited-open techniques); Cubital Tunnel (decompression or transposition of the ulnar nerve); Brachial Plexus surgery (tumors or trauma); thoracic outlet syndrome.
