with a decrease in physical and mental well being. Stress is unique to each individual as we experience it in varying forms and degrees every day. In small doses, stress can actually be beneficial to us. It is only when the stress becomes too great, affecting our physical or mental functioning, that it becomes a problem.
But, what is stress? If you were to ask ten people this question, you would likely get ten different answers. The reason for this is that stress is individual in nature. What stresses one person may not stress another. Stress can be "real" or perceived.
Creating the right amount of stress to be productive is the trick…. just like tuning a violin string. When the tension is "just right" the tone produced is beautiful. Take time to reflect and determine your "string tension". The music you play is your choice.
