Project 8 Car Seat Education

Project 8 is an educational program for parents and guardians in South Dakota. Project 8’s goal is to keep kids safe by making sure they are in the best child seat for their height and weight, until they are at least 8 years old. Services include:

  • On-site car seat inspections for parents at child care sites
     
  • Walk-in education and car seat inspection for parents
     
  • Car seat education sessions
     
  • Community car seat inspection/education events
     
  • Parent Educational Materials
