Basic Enrichment

CHILD Services provides ongoing training and technical assistance for those involved in day-to-day care of young children.

Trainings:

  • Training opportunities for licensed or registered child care providers to meet mandated training requirements.
     
  • Classes cover topics relevant to licensing requirements.  Topics range from child development and behavior to CPR to child safety.
     
  • Class instructors strive to help caregivers obtain information and confidence in one's ability to provide quality care for children.
     

Technical Assistance:

  • CHILD Staff are available to do an on site observation.  This observation provides the means to develop an action plan to assist child care programs with program improvement efforts.

Child Care Provider Technical Assistance

Technical Assistance (one to one) information and education. Family life educators can provide information via telephone or go on-site to the providers child care program and offer assistance or program improvement ideas.
