What Is Pink My Ride? When Tyler and Tracy Johnson’s cousin, Cylie Pastian, was diagnosed with cancer, their lives changed too. It was difficult for them to see her battle such a terrible disease and they were determined to find a way to make a difference. They took their love of racing and created Pink My Ride. They convinced other race car drivers to support their cause and all of them wrapped their race cars in pink, with Children’s Miracle Network and Sanford Children’s logos, to honor Cylie’s fight. Because of the care Cylie received, the brothers wanted to help raise funds for others in need of assistance from Children’s Miracle Network. Over the past four years, almost $66,000 has been raised for Children’s Miracle Network which will count toward the brothers’ recent pledge of $100,000! Fundraising Activities:The Johnson Brothers coordinated several fundraising opportunities, such as wrapping their cars in pink wrap, getting sponsors, passing the helmet and selling Pink My Ride t-shirts during the weekend of their event. They will race Rock Rapids, IA, on June 3, Harford, SD, on June 4 and Worthington, MN, on June 5.
